Dr. Bradford A. Newman
|
Dr. Bradford A. Newman is a 1971 graduate of Upsala College with a B.A. in psychology. After basic training in the U.S. Army reserve, Dr. Newman entered the Illinois College of Optometry where he received his B.S in Vision Science and his O.D ( Doctor of Optometry) degree in 1978.
Dr. Newman attended Gesell Institute of Child Development and was certified in Childrens vision by the institution. He is certified in diagnostic and therapeutic ocular agents by the Pennsylvania College of Optometry and the State of Connecticut. He is a Diplomate in Glaucoma and certified in Advanced Practice Optometry by the State University of New York College of Optometry and also the State of Connecticut.
Dr. Newman was a member of the New England Council of Optometrists. He is a past member of both the Connecticut Association of Optometrists and the American Optometric Association. He was on the town of Bloomfield Health advisory committee for many years. He is a past president of the Bloomfield Jaycees. He is the past president and current member of the Rotary Club of Bloomfield for the past 26 years.
